Q: What is your name, job title, and how long have you been with Tipico?

A: Stephanie Sapol, Corporate Recruiter, started December 2020 so coming up on three years.

Q: How does being in the betting industry impact your job on a day-to-day basis?

A: I occasionally come across potential candidates who are not comfortable working in this industry for their own specific beliefs. I of course respect that, though I haven’t had a similar experience happen at my other jobs.

Q: What attracted you to joining this industry?

A: It’s a reasonably new industry within the US, which lends way for fast growth and an ever-changing environment. I wanted to work somewhere that was constantly moving and changing, which would help me grow professionally.

Q: What advice would you give someone trying to join a company like Tipico?

A: Learn specifics about the company beyond the surface level information before your interview. All companies, especially ones such as Tipico, are looking for people that will take initiatives in their role, and showing that you are genuinely interested in the position and company highlights that drive.

Q: Where would you like your career to go from here?

A: I’ve learned an extraordinary amount of skill and technique from my coworkers and I’d like to continue to hone my craft. Eventually I’d like to be in a high-level position with a team built out below me.

Q: What’s your most interesting story from your time here at Tipico?

A: We had a company-wide cocktail making demonstration during the middle of the day! It was a great way to bond with my coworkers while trying
out drinks I’ve never had.
